FUCHSIA JUBILEE
Fuschia Jubilee is a series of 100 bundles of limited edition prints for VISUAL Carlow, commissioned for Speech Sounds by curator-in-residence Iarlaith Ni Fheorais. The images map hunger, body-building, and worship over uncanny ruins, follies, and meaningless memorials. The series of four double-side (eight total) prints is an anosmic recipe that merges pre-Raphelite long-haired florals and flirting in the famine, with the smell of oil paint, petrichor and sex in a walled garden in West Cork in 1851.
